Chelsea finally agree deal with Borussia Dortmund to trade 10-goal striker
Chelsea are on the verge of sealing the deal that ties the fate of Michy Batshuayi to Borussia Dortmund for at least the rest of the season.
The heroic display against Newcastle did not seem to help Batshuayi’s course of making a claim to his bosses to remain at Chelsea for the rest of the season, as goals as those he delivered against Newcastle, will go a long way to save the club’s season in cup competitions.
The Belgium international has scored 10 goals in all competitions this season, in only 11 starts in the first team, however the Blues seem keen on sending him out on loan until season’s end, with an eye on another striker to augment Morata.
That has led to many possibilities in the transfer market, with Edin Dzeko closely linked to a Stamford Bridge switch.
Bild in Germany, rehashed by Metro, reports Chelsea and Dortmund have agreed a deal for Batshuayi to move to the Bundesliga with Pierre Emerick Aubameyang ready to move to Arsenal.
