Man Utd have Offered Huge Deal to Sign £443million Star

Manchester United have been pretty much inactive in the winter transfer window and Mourinho must strengthen his team to improve the performances in the second half of the campaign.

As far as the latest transfer news is concerned, United are once again linked with Spanish international and Real Madrid sensation Marco Asensio.

According to Don Balon, top European clubs are interested in signing Asensio and one of them have put a huge deal on the table which is being valued by the player very seriously. That club is Manchester United.

The Spanish source claim that Asensio is Mourinho’s new favorite to bring glory days back at Old Trafford. Surprisingly, it is stated that neither Perez nor Zidane are very much in favor of the work done by the 21-year-old attacker but Mourinho believes that he will be a great asset for the Red Devils.

Asensio was brilliant in the last campaign and he started this season in top form as well. However, Zidane has mainly used him from the bench. He has only started 1 CL game and 9 league games in the current campaign.

Overall, in 26 appearances (all competitions), Marco has netted 7 goals and provided 3 assists. Last year, he signed a new deal (expires in 2023) with the Los Blancos which has a mammoth release clause (Independent) of 500 million euros (£443million).
