He is said to have landed at Manchester airport, having thought to have departed from Farnborough this morning.
Sanchez will now make his way to Carrington for his medical.

12:47: Alexis Sanchez has boarded a private jet on his way to Manchester.
The Arsenal star is thought to have departed from London Luton airport with the help of flight support firm Signature.
He filmed himself getting on the private jet via his instagram account.
He will head to Carrington for his medical today.
Announcement delayed
12.30: Manchester United might not announce a deal for Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez tonight, says journalist Tom McDermott.
"Sanchez’s medical is this afternoon at Carrington, but the club are in no particular hurry to announce it today," he wrote on Twitter.
"They might I’m told, but don’t be surprised if it’s tomorrow.
"Yeovil away in the FA Cup on Friday is likely to be the Chilean’s first #MUFC outing."
Sanchez in training
11.40: Manchester United-bound Alexis Sanchez will join Paul Pogba and co. at Carrington on Tuesday.
That’s according to Samuel Luckhurst, who reports on the Red Devils for Manchester Evening News.
“Alexis Sanchez due at Carrington for his United medical today,” he wrote.
“Set to train with new teammates on Tuesday.”
Sanchez is in line to sign a £500,000-a-week deal when he passes a series of routine tests.
