Shock As Woman's Dead Body Is Found On A Quiet Street With Her Pants Pulled Down (Photo)

A young woman has been found dead on a very quiet block with her pants pulled down and her blouse pushed upwards.
The woman, believed to be in her 20s or 30s, was found dead on Olean St. near E. 24th St. in Midwood about 6:30 a.m.

According to a report by New York Daily News, the body of a woman was discovered on a Brooklyn sidewalk Thursday with her pants pulled down to her ankles and her blouse pushed up.

The woman, believed to be in her 20s or 30s, was found dead on Olean St. near E. 24th St. in Midwood at about 6:30 a.m.

Although she had blood coming from her mouth and nose, cops said there were no obvious signs of trauma to her body.

A police source said investigators believe the blood was caused by her collapsing to the sidewalk, not from an assault.

A man on his way to work found the victim’s body. He called his wife to come outside because he had to get to work. His wife called 911 and told a dispatcher she believed the woman had been assaulted.

“They found somebody in the street, dead,” neighbor Bibi Maharaj said. “It's very sad. This neighborhood is extremely safe. I'm not worried, just shocked and sad.”

Other neighbors were also jolted.

“It's like the quietest block in Brooklyn,” said a 34-year-old woman who gave her name as Samantha. “Nothing really happens over here.”

The city medical examiner will conduct an autopsy to determine how the woman died.

Cops were working to determine her identity.
