Man United will press to sign £350,000-a-week star wants who wants Premier League move: report

According to Spanish outlet Diario Gol, Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale is keen for a move to Manchester United, with Los Blancos considering moving him on if Chelsea’s Eden Hazard makes the switch to the Santiago Bernabeu this month or next summer.
The report suggests United’s “sheer will to win” is what could convince Bale to leave the Spanish giants for the Red Devils, coupled with Real’s pursuit for another forward.
Hazard and Paris Saint-Germain’s Neymar are two players believed to be on their shortlist, and the Welshman could be sold to make way for one of them joining.  However, Diario Gol saying Hazard and Neymar would be a direct replacement for Bale makes little sense.
The former Tottenham man signed a six-year deal with Real in October 2016, and he earns around £350,000-a-week after tax. He’s scored nine goals in 17 games in all competitions this season, and is a key player when fit. Ronaldo is 32, struggling for league goals, and is in the twilight years of his career.
It would make no sense keeping Ronaldo over Bale given how many more years of service the latter should provide. The Express reveal the Red Devils have showed an interest in Bale on a number of occasions.
Jose Mourinho had lodged a late approach to sign the Wales international last summer, but their attempt was rebuffed by Real Madrid, who were not keen on losing the attacker.
Bale is currently worth around £50m, but his value will shoot up when he gets consistent run in the side again, fitness permitting.
